Palate Profile
Established on 1743, Moet & Chandon was the first champagne house and to this day the world's best selling champagne. Moet Imperial is the House's iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moet & Chandon style of being vibrant, generous and alluring. The nose is delicately vinous, with an initial aroma of both lime and vine blossom. The palate shows predominantly Pinot characteristics. Light, persistent sparkle. Very ample in the mouth, with a discreet finish.
Champagne guru Tyson Stelzer is suitably impressed with recent bottlings, noting that "this is the freshest and most fruit-focused I have seen it." He sums it up by declaring that this is "better-made than ever". The tradition continues.

Well balanced, this Champagne, even with its enormous production, remains a benchmark and is always enjoyable. In this bottling, ripe white fruit is cut with citrus, with an edge of toastiness that gives complexity.
This Champagne has a large portion of both Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as up to 30% of reserve wine and a dosage of 9g/l. It has a very citrussy nose, with zippy yellow and white fruits on the palate. It's medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with a pleasantly fruity foundation.
