"Fermented with 15% whole bunches, and matured in used oak to throw the emphasis on the fruit. The Turkey is in full flight here, with delicious cherry and satsuma plum fruit given context by persistent but rounded tannins (and oak maturation)." James Halliday, 95 points"
Source blocks were selected for spice and lift, representing a fresher and more layered version of ‘Barossa Valley shiraz’. 15% whole bunch used to increase spice and structure, with 100% old, French oak allowing fruit to take the fore.
Bright purple colour, gentle Shiraz aromas, heaps of smooth, rich flavours rearing to go right now, with classy tight tannins, making it a great food wine. Simply a modern, fresh and fruit-driven wine. A lighter, brighter style of Shiraz designed for drinking young. This wine can age up to 10 years.
