“With bay and savory notes. A Chalky fame surrounds the red currant and black cherry fruit."
88 Points Wine Spectator
“While this is a firm wine, full of dry tannins and smoky wood-aging flavors, it also has plenty of ripe and juicy fruit. Red berry and black currant show strongly, filling wine out and promising roundness as it ages. Drink from 2017." 88 Points Wine Enthusiast
“Attractive cedary, red and black currant notes intermixed with hints of camphor and damp earth.”
87 Points Robert Parker
“Good fruit, minerals, spices and blueberries. Medium body, with fine tannins and a clean finish.”
87 Points James Suckling
Attractive aromas of plums and cherries with a delicate oak character. The palate is bright and lively with excellent underlying fruit. A light style and highly drinkable with a satisfying slate and mineral finish.
About Château Greysac:
Château Greysac's wine is now more than ever before the expression of its outstanding soil: beautiful gravelly rises located in the hamlet of By. Winemaking is traditional, though all necessary modern equipment is available to provide a helping hand. The selection of wine to be sold under the Greysac name is very strict, rarely over 70% of total production. Even in difficult years, there is great consistency in the quality of these wines. The characteristic style of Greysac is one of great aromatic finesse combined withgood, full body. Their wines exhibit straight forward, clean flavors and sumptuous fruit which acquire elegance and complexity over time.
