Deep magenta in colour with a vibrant nose of dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon aromas. An exotic and full-bodied palate driven by flavours of fruits of the forest, blackcurrant and a hint of savoury spice bound together by succulent fine-grained tannins. A wine of great length which will reward many years in the cellar.
Magnificent, complex and engaging, this stunning rendition shows blackcurrant, dark plum, spicy oak, thyme and cocoa notes on the nose. It’s equally impressive on the palate with excellent concentration and richness, wonderfully complemented by polished tannins and velvety mouthfeel.
opens with a deep well of rich, winter warming aromas: cassis, plum, chocolate, bay, eucalyptus, graphite, and peppery spices. The palate is rich and muscular but with restraint and a tang of fruit that offers much needed freshness. Tannins are broad-shouldered and dusty with myriad spices.
Deepish red to brick-red colour with a touch of development. The bouquet has leathery elements and savouriness to burn, the tannins are very drying and powdery, leaving an almost palpable residue on the tongue.
