The Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir Couvent des Jacobins "cuvée" comes from a balanced blend of Côte d'Or, including Hautes Côte de Beaune and Hautes Côte de Nuits, Côte Chalonnaise (Mercurey) and Auxerrois (Irancy).
Consistent quality and great value, this medium-bodied red is rich, fruity and silky smooth with flavours of crushed redcurrants and cranberry. Soft spice notes blend together to make this wine an ideal accompaniment to somewhat stronger spicy dishes.
At a young age, the Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir AOC Couvent of Jacobin shines in a bright ruby red and develops elegant garnet-colored reflexes as it matures
