The 2020 Small Batch Series Angela Shiraz is made in an aromatic style: it is perfumed and elegant. The fruit is sourced from the southern part of the Vale. In the mouth, the wine sings with blue fruits and vibrancy. It has notes of deli meat, aniseed, blackberry and plush fruit—powerful and neat. This is quite lovely, with coulis and pink peppercorn— moreish.

Dry and full-flavoured, this has been well constructed with oak tannins providing length and backbone before fading away a little on the finish.
