This 2022 Chardonnay hails from the cool-climate, terra-rossa soils of the Coonawarra region, and showcases a beautifully balanced, modern style. It presents pale straw with green hues, and the bouquet offers ripe nectarine and stone fruit aromas overlaid with subtle yeasty complexity and a touch of vanilla from French oak.  

On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with persistent stone-fruit flavours, crisp and fine mineral acidity, and a clean, long finish.  The winemaking emphasises freshness: harvested cool, pressed promptly, matured eight months in 100% French oak (35% new) with lees stirring.
