Sourced from mature vineyards near McLaren Vale township, it was crafted under near-perfect growing conditions — a mild summer and balanced ripening season that produced fruit of depth, purity, and natural harmony.

Aromas of dark plum, blackberry, cassis and mocha fill the glass, accented by hints of vanilla, nutmeg and black pepper. The palate is plush and full-bodied, with generous dark fruit, layers of chocolate and spice, and finely structured tannins that glide into a long, velvety finish. The oak is beautifully integrated, supporting the fruit without dominating it, while the chalky texture gives a classic regional signature.

The wine has received strong critical acclaim, earning 95 points from Ray Jordan, 94 points from both Ken Gargett and Jeni Port, and a Gold Medal at the 2024 McLaren Vale Wine Show.
