Palate Profile
Trumpeter Malbec is dense, with an inky color and attractive cherry aromas with a touch of cinnamon and sweet spice. A fruity wine, with excellent body, intense tannins, and flavors of cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and plum intermingled with hints of cardamom and pepper. Prolonged, mouthfilling finish.
Aging: 30% New American oak, 30% new French oak and 40% 2nd and 3rd use American oak barrels for 7 months.

The young and primary 2021 Trumpeter Malbec has varietal aromas of violets, berries and herbs and a juicy palate with round tannins and a soft mouthfeel. It has moderate ripeness, 13% alcohol and a medium body that makes it fresh and easy to drink. 2.67 million bottles produced. A superb commercial Malbec.
