Sourced from blocks planted with ungrafted Chardonnay vines of the Mendoza clone, planted on yellow sandy loams in 1997. The Mendoza Chardonnay clone has low yields of small, thick-skinned berries. Fermented in stainless-steel tanks and aged in a mixture of second and third use French oak barrels for 11 months.
"On the nose, elegant aromas of citrus rind and red apple combine effortlessly with notes of walnut. In the mouth, flavors of crème brûlée and cookie-dough give way to a fresh, lively acidity."
