Domaine Chanson, established in 1750, is among Burgundy's most storied producers, one of just six from the 18th century or earlier still operating.

Acquired in 1999, the estate has undergone a remarkable revival, reclaiming its status as a premier Burgundy house, highlighted in 2017 when three of its wines were named “wine of the year” by France’s leading wine critic.

Thierry Desseauve, leading French Wine Critic and writer for the French consumer wine publication “Le Classement des Meilleurs Vins de France”, features Domaine Chanson as winery of the year and stated that Chanson has become one of “the most reliable names in Burgundy.”
