    Captain Stentiford retired from a life at sea and settled on a plot of land in South Australia. The Barrelman Series sources wine from some of South Australia's finest regions in respect of the brave crewman that endured the elements in the half barrel lookout at the top of the mast.

    Brand's Laira Barrelman Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 reveals a perfumed nose of a characteristic Coonawarra blackcurrant and mulberry fruit aroma’s, followed up by a lingering dark spicy chocolately liquorice oak character.

    Flavoursome blackcurrant, blackberry fruit are upfront with hints of brown spices like nutmeg enhances the oak flavours finishing off the palate. 

    The supple varietal tannins give structured framework and weight to the wine which finishes with dark cacao oak, silky tannins and an elegant finish.
