Profile

The Regional Series from Capel Vale showcase grape varieties and their most suited regions. This example of Margaret River Cabernet has all the traditional flavours of blackcurrant, bay leaf and a hint of cigar box. 

Critic awards

A soft and supple medium bodied shiraz from Mount Barker. Spicy plummy fruit characters emerge on the nose then lift off the palate. Delicious mix of rich chocolate and plummy fruits with a trace of African violet. Beautiful palate weight and mouth feel.

Dense ruby from core to rim. Blueberry, bitumen and clove aromas. Dark berry fruit on entry, some bitter herbal notes show briefly then savoury dark minerals and spices take over. Tannins have ample grip, ensuring the finish is dry, if a touch clipped.
