    Palate Profile

    Washington state's famed Horse Heaven Hills, named for the wild horses that once roamed this area, have been home to the Columbia Crest winery for over two decades. Our winemaker blends innovation and tradition to capture this unique basalt and bedrock terroir creating wines that highlight the intensity of these grapes.

    Dark fruit dominates this Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of black cherry and blackberry. There is a touch of dark chocolate and currant with a hint of minerality added by the concrete ageing. The wine finishes with plush tannins and cocoa.

    Critic Awards

    Blackberries, dark cherries, tobacco leaves, mint and mocha on the nose. It’s creamy and ripe, with soft tannins and nice balance. Excellent value.
