Visually inky black in colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Showing ample elevation are expressive aromatics of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum which then merge into vanillin cedar, light earth, a hint of fennel and pepper. Flooding the full bodied palate with a wave of succulence are rich blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which are underpinned by spicy vanillin cedar and earthy fennel elements. Finishes with superb depth and a burst of black pepper. There’s a youthful, inky opulence to the texture which is supported by good freshness and fine grained tannins. Cruises into a long, deeply fruited conclusion.
