Profile

This 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of juicy blackcurrants, dark chocolate and mint, accented by savoury notes of tobacco leaf. The palate is elegantly structured with classic flavours of chocolate and bay leaf, flowing through to ripe blackberries and fresh thyme to finish.

Fruit is grown on theYertabulti and Provis vineyards, situated at the northern end of the Clare Valley, this is the perfect climate for maturing our premium red grapes.

It's splendidly fruited and fragrant on the nose, showing blackcurrant, green olive, nutmeg and floral aromas, leading to a fruit-expressive palate delivering excellent weight and elegant structure. Varietally expressive and enticing with a lingering flavoursome finish. At its best: now to 2031.

A wonderful vintage for the region, which comes through with all these wines. This fine Cabernet is an opaque purple. It is dominated by black fruits, along with blueberries, coffee beans, dry herbs, tobacco leaves and more, particularly hints of undergrowth. There is a supple texture with the wine finishing with fine, if slightly firm, tannins, decent length and good focus. An attractive Clare Cab which will drink well for the next six to ten years.
