The 173ème Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée is a Champagne of incredible finesse, complexity and depth, offering a multi-layered aromatic spectrum only possible through Krug’s meticulous reserve wine library.
The nose is vibrant and seductive: citrus zest, white flowers, peach, apple tart, almond biscuit, hazelnut cream, brioche and delicate spice, underpinned by Krug’s hallmark smoky-mineral nuance.
The palate is precise, rich yet weightless, opening with bright citrus and orchard fruits before deepening into roasted nuts, pastry, honeycomb, marzipan and subtle chalkiness. The texture is pure Krug — silky, powerful, complex and perfectly balanced.
The finish is long, harmonious and persistent, with a beautiful salinity and lingering nutty depth.
