Critic awards

An off-dry expression with a lower alcohol makes for an appealing Riesling centering on flavours of lemons and apples with a mineral steely topline. Though off-dry the wine has a backbone of acidity the carries the flavours of citrus and tree fruits acorss the palate seamlessly. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2024 through 2030.

Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is elegantly full, softly penetrating apple, citrus, stonefruit and elderflower aromas. Medium-bodied, medium-dry to taste, apple, lemon and nectarine aromas melded with elderflower and subtle white spice. The fruit is juicy and vibrant, supported by balanced acidity and sweetness, and lingering to a moreish finish. Match with pork & fennel sausages and spicy Asian fare over the next 5 years.
