Profile
A distinguished Pinot Noir from Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, specifically from the esteemed Premier Cru vineyard "Les Valozières" in Aloxe-Corton. This vineyard is situated below the Grand Cru "Corton Les Bressandes," on mid-slopes with a south/southeast exposure. The terroir comprises clay-limestone soils with brown limestone pebbles and marl, contributing to the wine's complexity and depth.
In the glass, this wine exhibits a deep ruby red color. The bouquet is elegant and powerful, offering a complex floral style with spicy notes and aromas of red and black fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and blackcurrant. On the palate, it is full-bodied, deep, and distinguished, with a generous structure supported by notes of red fruits, spices, and melted tannins. The wine undergoes aging for 12 to 15 months in 100% one-wine barrels, enhancing its structure and aging potential.
With an alcohol content of 13%, this Pinot Noir is both approachable in its youth and possesses the structure for graceful aging over the next 7–10 years. Its versatility makes it an excellent companion to a variety of dishes, including grilled or roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses
