Pine needles, dark chocolate, cigar box and ripe blackberries. Rich and flavorful on the palate with full body and lots of fine-grained tannins. Long, broad and flavorful finish. Modern, plush oak, but polished and not overdone. Shows outstanding quality, even though it might be helpful to dial back on oak and underscore finesse.

The nose is powerful with a red fruit note alongside the cassis and herbal character. Rich, dense, and layered with well-judged oak, juicy and structured tannins with sweet fruit underneath the rich, dense fruit core. Long and rich finish - well-judged and hedonistic. Still youthful and the oak is just integrating beautifully. Classy and old school, and really rather enjoyable!
