    Profile

    Both fresh and vivifying, the Petit F... is a delicate wine and presents subtle aromas of citrus, apple, pear and peach. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture and a long mineral finish.

    The Redde family have been vigneron for 14 generations; the knowledge passed from father to son has given them a detailed understanding of their vineyards and allows them to create expressive and highly individual wines. The speciality of the Redde family is a series of single vineyard wines from the communes of Tracey-Sur-Loire, Pouilly-Sur-Loire and Saint Andelain. Each comune is an example of one of the 3 main soil types in Pouilly-Fume appellation and the 3 wines express the complex charateristics of each.

    Critic awards

    The wine has a pale lemon color with green highlights. The nose offers precision, purity of fruit and a fine refreshing herbaceous touch. It expresses notes of lime juice, yellow lemon, green apple, green plum, as well as mint, tomato leaf, a delicate floral touch (apple blossom) and a slightly iodized mineral hint in the background.

    On the palate, the wine offers roundness and expresses notes of crunchy stone fruits (white peach, white nectarine), ripe citrus fruits (lime, and more slightly - orange zest), fresh flowers (acacia, apple blossom) and a herbaceous touch of mint (in the background).

    The finish is tangy, fresh and lively, on citrus notes (yellow lemon zest, a touch of bitter orange) and a fine iodized note.
