Critically acclaimed, the 2018 vintage received a 97-point rating from Falstaff, highlighting its complex and multi-layered profile. Wine Spectator awarded it 95 points, noting its fresh, lively, and linear profile with flavors of strawberries, cherries, hibiscus, iron, and cut hay, leading to a vibrant structure and a long, fruit- and mineral-tinged finish. Vinous rated it 94 points, describing it as a brooding, inward wine with mineral and savory notes dominating, while fruit remains in the background. 

With an alcohol content of 14.5%, this Barbaresco is both approachable in its youth and capable of graceful aging, promising to evolve beautifully over the next two decades.
