A full-flavoured yet finely structured Cabernet of great appeal: black berries, dried leaves and fine gravelly tannin, reflect an outstanding year.

Grapes from the northern regions of Margaret River: Wilyabrup, Carbunup and Cowaramup, were harvested at ideal flavour and tannin ripeness, fermented then matured for twelve to fifteen months in French oak from a variety of coopers. An excellent growing season has delivered well-balanced wines that will develop gracefully in bottle.

Critic Awards

No mistaking that this is from Margaret River. Those blackcurrant, bay leaf and black olive notes are a dead giveaway. It’s firm and structured but wrapped with generous full-flavoured ripe fruit. (Ray Jordan)

Vivid regional and varietal characters of cherry, blackberry, seaweed, beet, eucalyptus and black olive brine open the nose of this savory Cabernet. The palate is powerful while still being linear, focused and fresh. Savory tannins frame juicy, brambly red fruit and spice, and a gently charred oak note can be felt, too.

Distinctive leafy freshness with bell pepper, coriander, raspberry and blackberry aromas. Sleek and fresh with a medium body and fine tannins.

Tasty Cab Sav

Nice structure with full body flavour, presence of berries. Good value in 1.5L, especially when taking to a dinner party and dominating the bottle skyline! Good flavour feedback from buddies too.
