"A unique blend of Montepulciano, Negroamaro, and Merlot from the Apulia.
The wine is aged in small oak barrels for three years, imparting complexity and softness, resulting in a rich and harmonious profile with deep aromas and a velvety texture.
It displays a dark ruby red colour with purple reflections and offers an intense and pleasant bouquet featuring notes of cherry, blackberry, cinnamon, tobacco, licorice, and hints of myrtle, mint, and violets. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, with ripe fruit freshness, spicy and toasted nuances, silky tannins, and a persistent, harmonious finish."

A tribute to the founder Giovanni Cielo who bought a small estate just in front of the Romeo & Juliet Castles in the heart of Veneto.

Originally, in that area, the wines were mostly blends of different regions, hence the decision to revamp the same path to combine richness of southern Italy with fruitiness of the North, obtaining a new original Prestige red blend.

It is called «Nero» (Black) as Giovanni refers to a rich red wine.

Famiglia Cielo Rosso “Nero di Gio” 2021 is powerful and concentrated with notes of cherry, blackberry and hints of cinnamon, tobacco and licorice.
