Familia Martínez Zabala has been involved in the world of wine for 160 years. Today they represent a group of 6 wineries among different appellations in Spain, with 2000 hectares of vineyards, making them the biggest owner of vineyards in the entire Rioja region.

Their flagship wine is Faustino Rioja DOCa, the absolute leader in the Rioja Gran reserve Category (with 33% market share) and named in 2024 in the Top 20 of the 50 World’s Most Admired Wine Brands. Bodegas Faustino was chosen as one of the five best European wineries of 2022 at the Wine Star Awards held by Wine Enthusiast. The winery has a cellar of over 60,000 barrels and nine million bottles and offers one of the most extensive vertical tastings in Spain, selling vintages from 1955 onwards.
