Continue shoppingCollection: Ruffino Wines
Since 1877, Ruffino has stood as one of the great ambassadors of Tuscan wine to the world. Founded in the hills outside Florence by cousins Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino, the estate quickly earned a reputation for producing wines of elegance, authenticity, and consistent quality. Within just a decade, Ruffino’s Chianti had won gold medals across European exhibitions, establishing the brand as a trusted symbol of Italian craftsmanship.
Over the years, Ruffino became synonymous with Chianti and Tuscany’s winemaking identity, from the iconic straw-wrapped fiasco bottles that introduced Chianti to international tables, to its enduring flagship wines such as Riserva Ducale and Riserva Ducale Oro. The estate was among the first to export Italian wines to North America in the early 20th century, helping shape global recognition of Tuscan wine as refined, food-friendly, and deeply rooted in tradition.
Today, Ruffino continues to honor its heritage while embracing innovation. With vineyards spread across Tuscany’s most prestigious appellations — including Chianti Classico, Montalcino, and Bolgheri — Ruffino crafts wines that reflect both place and history. From crisp, vibrant Prosecco to cellar-worthy Gran Selezione Chianti Classicos, Ruffino remains a trusted name, celebrated for uniting Italian authenticity, modern sustainability, and timeless quality for over 145 years.
