    Founded by Jorge Ordóñez in 2007, BODEGAS AVANCIA is located in the Valdeorras appellation of Galicia. Unlike Galicia’s coastal regions, Valdeorras has a continental climate due to its inland position, influencing the character of its wines.

    AVANCIA’s vineyards are on steep, south-facing hillsides at around 600 meters above sea level, with a continental climate ideal for grape growing. Using old-vine grapes, AVANCIA is dedicated to producing wines that express the unique terroir of the region.

    This has notes of chalk, cream, apricots, grapefruit and salted almonds. Intense and
    delicious, with mineral, buttery and creamy elements all well integrated. Compact.

    This wine has a nose of peach, dried apricot and almond blossom. Stone fruit and floral flavors transition to the palate. Creamy mouthfeel, balanced acidity and a soft note of vanilla make for a nice finish.
