La Grande Année 2015 is a powerful, richly textured and beautifully structured Champagne — a vintage that plays directly into Bollinger’s strengths. With Pinot Noir at its core and fermentation in old oak barrels, the wine shows depth, intensity and unmistakable Bollinger generosity, balanced by a surprisingly vibrant line of acidity for such a warm year.

The bouquet is layered and expressive: ripe peach, Mirabelle plum, lemon oil, baked apple, toasted hazelnut, almond praline, brioche, white flowers and subtle smoke. On the palate it is broad, vinous and concentrated, delivering flavours of candied citrus, stone fruit, roasted nuts, dried fig, spice and chalky minerality.

The mousse is creamy yet refined, leading to a long, savoury, beautifully persistent finish that showcases the house’s signature style.
