Dom Pérignon P2 Plénitude 2006 is breathtakingly vibrant, showing the energy and precision that come from an additional decade of ageing on lees. Expect struck-match minerality, fresh citrus, white stone fruits, almond cream, brioche, and toasted hazelnut. The palate is electric yet creamy, with fine mousse, deep concentration, and a long, savoury, saline finish.
This is Dom Pérignon at its most powerful, layered, and crystalline.
“Strikingly fresh and youthful for its age, with tremendous energy and drive. Lemon curd, white peach, crushed stones and subtle spice. The palate is tightly coiled, powerful and pulsating with minerality. A Champagne that unfurls slowly, revealing incredible length and precision.”
“Showing an extra dimension of depth and structure compared with the regular DP 2006. Aromas of crisp orchard fruit, nougat, pastry cream and toasted hazelnut. The palate is broad yet chiselled, with P2’s trademark tension, savoury complexity and a long saline finish. A superb release.”
“Illustrates why P2 is so special. Explosive and multidimensional: citrus oil, dried flowers, brioche, almond and crushed rock. The mousse is exceptionally fine. At once intense, deep and laser-focused. A truly great Dom Pérignon.”
“Still incredibly youthful. Tight, dense, layered. Green citrus, chalk, brioche and gunflint. Tremendous persistence. Built for decades.”
