Palate Profile
The Toscana Rosso Tenuta Frescobaldi di Castiglioni di Frescobaldi was born in the vineyards of the homonymous estate located in the municipality of Montespertoli, in Tuscany.
Deep, opaque ruby-red, rimmed in purple, intrigues the eye. The nose is marked by appealing, fragrant fruit, with deep draughts of dark-fleshed fruit, such as wild blackberry, black cherry, plum and strawberry, which shade into toastier notes of cocoa powder, roast espresso bean , tobacco leaf and vanilla and cinnamon. Impressively full-bodied, the plate shows pleasurably warm, smooth and well-rounded. Its tangy acidity and noble tannins, already well integrated in the structure , contribute to exemplary balance. Subtle fruit enlivens a lenghty, long-lingering finish.

An extremely pretty sangiovese-based blend with plenty of red cherries, freshly picked blackberries, acacia and hints of herbs. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a fruit-forward yet fresh finish. Drink now or hold.
Round, laced with cherry, plum, herb and earth flavors. This has a moderately firm structure and ends crisp, showing notes of apple skin. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. Drink now through 2023. 4,500 cases imported.
