As the name suggests, Henri Giraud Hommage au Pinot Noir celebrates the Pinot Noir grape and pays homage to Francois Hémart, the ancestor of the Giraud-Hémart family.

Coming exclusively from the Grand Cru d'Aÿ, Henri Giraud Hommage au Pinot Noir is aged for 54 months, 12 months on the lees in small oak barrels followed by 6 months on the lees then bottled and kept for 3 years in the cellar on laths for optimal aging.

Henri Giraud Hommage au Pinot Noir has slightly amber tones with white flowers, honeysuckle, yellow fruit and green almond hints on the nose. In the mouth: pear and yellow fruit, dry apricot with a finish of orange zest and burlat with a fine chocolate touch.
