Metala is a historic single vineyard in South Australia’s Langhorne Creek and includes the oldest family-owned Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world. Wines are handcrafted by fifth generation custodian Guy Adams, with an ‘always faithful’ Australian spirit. The iconic White Label collection are sourced from parcels of fruit throughout the Metala single vineyard and represent the power and expression of Langhorne Creek.

Metala Shiraz Cabernet 2021 has a bouquet of sweet plums, ripe blackberry and red current with hints of jubes and red liquorice.

The palate is generous and elegant with sweet, dark fruits, primarily blackberries, and a touch of white pepper. Firm tannins and natural acidity balance fruit sweetness.

Very much a product of the great vintage, this 80/20% blend fills the mouth with exotic plum, blackberry and dark chocolate. At this price it's a steal.

A mix of spiced red and black berries with an inky edge tempts the nose. The palate is warm, ripe and flavoursome. It’s well-made: bold fleshy fruits are framed by tannins. A second glass wouldn’t be refused. And it’s exceptional value.

Plush and soft, red and blackberries jostling with a little choc-liquorice, saline minerality, eucalyptus and mint herbal notes with a little graphite-bitter tannin in tow. Slides along beautifully, a little tug of tannins but more about that glistening roll of ripe fruit, gentle spice and herbal accent.
