Profile

Established on 1743, Moet & Chandon was the first champagne house and to this day the world's best selling champagne. Moet Imperial is the House's iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moet & Chandon style of being vibrant, generous and alluring.

The nose is delicately vinous, with an initial aroma of both lime and vine blossom. The palate shows predominantly Pinot characteristics. Light, persistent sparkle. Very ample in the mouth, with a discreet finish.

Champagne guru Tyson Stelzer is suitably impressed with recent bottlings, noting that "this is the freshest and most fruit-focused I have seen it." He sums it up by declaring that this is "better-made than ever". The tradition continues.

Critic awards

Elegant and vibrant aromas of crisp apples, zesty yellow citrus and touches of creamy notes. Very smooth and soft on the palate, harmonious, with fine bubbles. Blend: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir.
