Palate Profile
This 100% Tempranillo is sourced from 50- to 60-year-old vineyards in La Horra. The soil is mostly sandy clay and clay loam. Grapes are harvested by hand, picked and selected at optimum ripeness, de-stemmed, but not crushed. The must goes through a 22-day maceration process, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in small, stainless-steel vats. Aged for 30 months in 80% new French oak and 20% new American oak. No fining or filtration.

Features fresh earth, chopped red and black cherry fruit, dried lavender and sandalwood aromas and flavours, which glide across the palate and are set in a supple, medium- to full-bodied frame. Lightly chewy and lively on the lingering finish.
