"95 Points. This is first-class Margaret River cabernet at an economy price. It has elegance and poise, the cassis and black-olive flavours fresh and detailed, the crisp tannins likewise. The colour, too, is bright and clear. 13.5% alc. Drink by 2033. Screwcap."- James Halliday, Halliday Top 100 Wines 2020.
"94 Points. A bright, dark ruby red colour. Gorgeous nose. Mulberries, plums, black fruits. There is a hint of the Christmas pudd going on here. Some cassis also appears. The oak is handled superbly, almost transparent. Move to the palate and it is immediately obvious just how young this wine is. Spices and dark fruits dominate. There is plenty of grip, but the tannins are very fine and there is excellent length here. A finely balanced wine with an exciting future. Some chocolate emerged with time in the glass. From an excellent Margaret River vintage (is there any other kind?), this is a wine which should drink very well over the next ten to twenty years, but even in three to four years, it should score higher. Drink: 2023 - 2035"- Ken Gargett, winepilot.com
