Profile

This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Merlot 40%, Syrah 10% and Cabernet Franc 10% from vineyards in the foothills of Suvereto. Aged for 3 months in French oak barriques and stainless steel tanks.

A deep ruby red hue with enticing aromas of blackberries, plums, and ripe black cherries with subtle hints of cocoa, licorice, and sweet spices. Velvety smooth with sikly tannins and invigorating acidity, culminating in a harmonious and lingering finish.

Critic awards

A pretty red with blackberries, blueberries and sage, as well as dried flowers. Medium body with light, fine tannins and a fresh finish. One of the best I have had.

Clear ruby red. Compact nose, lots of ripe fruit, cherry and plum, behind some vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is balanced and full, nice interplay between fruit and spice, ripe tannins and well-integrated acidity, a little black pepper on the finish.
