Palate Profile
This 100% Tempranillo is sourced from 50- to 60-year-old vineyards in La Horra. The soil is sandy clay. Grapes are harvested by hand, picked and selected at optimum ripeness, de-stemmed, but not crushed. The must goes through a 25-day maceration process, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in small barrels. Aged for 32 months in 100% new French oak. No fining or filtration.
Decant for two to three hours. Serve at 18-20°C.

A well-balanced, medium- to full-bodied red, with expressive notes of ripe boysenberry puree and blueberry pie filling, plus accents of wild sage, rose hip, loamy earth, cocoa powder and spices. This wine's rich flavour profile is enlivened by orange peel acidity and structured by taut, fine-grained tannins.
