    Palate Profile

    Exhibiting an attractive, bright purple colour, this wine reveals lovely aromatic complexity and elegance. Notes of ripe fruit, gingerbread and violets mingle with subtle oak and a mineral touch. Very fine tannins come to the fore on the palate and develop with power, whilst keeping lovely freshness and amazing length of flavour. A wine with great breed and elegance, which will age well for many years. To be enjoyed in 10 to 20 years or beyond that! Probably the château’s greatest success of the last 20 years.

    Critic Awards

    Nicely concentrated Pomerol nose; shows real depth. This is forthright and energetic, with plenty of spice and zest on the long finish. Ripe, rounded, fleshy and opulent, with hefty but ripe tannins and good balancing acidity. Delicious fruit.

    An opaque purple-colored, dense, tannic, powerful Pomerol, the 2010 Beauregard exhibits a muscular framework, abundant tannin and impressive concentration as well as sweet fruit. Atypically backward for a Pomerol, it requires 3-5 years of cellaring and should drink well for two decades.”
