With a vineyard of over 120 hectares, the estate is one of the largest in Burgundy, and also one of the most prestigious. With exceptional Grand Cru and Premier Cru plots, the Faiveley family boasts a remarkable winegrowing heritage.

This climat was called "Petite Merveille" (Little Wonder) in the Middle Ages, a sign of the high quality of the wines produced here. "Latricières-Chambertin" dates back to 1508 and is the most southern Grand Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin. This wine reveals exceptional balance between minerality (reminiscent of Clos de la Roche) and depth (close in style to a Chambertin).

Critic awards

Take the trouble to investigate the depths of this very impressive 2021 Grand Cru Burgundy, the aroma spectrum of which stretched from redcurrant to violet, from wet earth and savory to wild blackberry. Impressive power that’s beautifully integrated on the rich palate. Bright and beautifully crafted at the very long finish. Drink or hold.

— 96 points, James Suckling

Pretty much perfectly complete as it is, this is a stunner of baked raspberries and soft, ripe cherries dappled with baking spice. The tannins feel like satin and the buoyant acidity melts into the background. Also, for a Grand Cru, the oak isn't peeking out at all at this point, which is rather rare.

— 96 points, Tim Aitken MW

aut and sinewy, with cherry, raspberry, menthol and oak spice aromas and flavors under the grip of dense, dusty tannins. The fruit and supple texture still need to emerge and balance the tannins.

— 94 points, Wine Spectator

Wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries and plums mingled with vine smoke, spices and rose petals, the 2021 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with melting tannins, vibrant acids and a giving, perfumed profile that privileges sensuality over power.

— 94 points, Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Fairly dense crimson in colour. There is a solid weight of fruit on the nose, dark raspberry with some strawberry too. Some depth to this. A mix of mineral and floral for Jérôme while I find something earthier. Firm tannins at the finish but plenty of fruit to surround them.

— 94 points, Inside Burgundy
