Los Vascos finds its origins in a Basque family who planted vineyards in the Colchagua Valley around 1750. Two Centuries later, in 1988, a 50-50 partnership was struck between Los Vascos and the Domaines Barons de Rothchild, owner of the masterpiece Pauillac first-growth Château Lafite Rothschild. After large investments and vineyard restructuring, Los Vascos is now one of Chile’s largest premium single vineyards.

Palate Profile
Los Vascos Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is an Intense ruby-red colour with glints of garnet. Initially the nose presents scents of fresh strawberry, red cherry, gooseberry and blue flowers. Then subtle notes of bay, tobacco, caramel and graphite emerge. On the palate, the wine is generous with soft yet lively tannins, leading into a long, lingering finish.

An attractive cabernet sauvignon with blackcurrant, tobacco and some spice. It’s medium-bodied with round tannins and a flavorful finish. Very typical for a cab.
