Los Vascos finds its origins in a Basque family who planted vineyards in the Colchagua Valley around 1750. Two Centuries later, in 1988, a 50-50 partnership was struck between Los Vascos and the Domaines Barons de Rothchild, owner of the masterpiece Pauillac first-growth Château Lafite Rothschild. After large investments and vineyard restructuring, Los Vascos is now one of Chile’s largest premium single vineyards.
A low intensity pink color is the first impression of this delicate wine. The nose shows all its expression with notes of fresh red fruits such as strawberries and cherries. The palate is refreshing and tense, with an accompanying volume; this leaves a pleasant sensation, surprising for its persistence.
