An intense crimson hued wine that is very youthful with many heard ahead of it yet. It exhibits great depth, concentration and vibrancy of varietal fruit richness.

Well. This is a beauty. So much fruit, tannin and oak but in such overall balance. Blackcurrant and toast, peppermint cream and dried herbs, chocolate. Swoosh. It’s big, it’s creamy and it’s tannic but it has energy. Bowled me over a bit, this one. Belter of a Clare Valley cabernet.

Combining power and sophistication, the wine is filled with cassis, dark plum and spicy oak flavours with nuances of dried herb and floral. The wonderfully concentrated palate exhibits terrific fruit intensity backed by fine texture and chalky tannins, finishing structured and superbly long.

Colour is deep, dark, youthful and vibrant. Complex and layered aromas of blackberry, mulberry, cedar, graphite, dried herbs and eucalyptus. A full-throttle palate, all those dark and brooding black fruits carry over, the tannin is assertive and structured, and shapes the lushness of the fruit very nicely. A cabernet that has power, precision and poise.
