A blend of predominantly Syrah, supplemented with small amounts of Cinsault and Carignan. Vineyards are characterised by clay limestone soils, facing south towards the sea. Aged on fine lees for six months; the Syrah in 50 Hectoliter wooden vats, the
Cinsault and Carignan in concrete vats.

Lots of pretty cherry and strawberry fruits as well as peppery garrigue emerge from the 2019 Astérides, a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, pretty wine that still brings beautiful depth of fruit and length. It's going to be a solid value and ideal or enjoying over the coming 4-6 years.
