Profile

Deep ruby. The nose is ripe and complex bouquet of black plum, violet, cedar, cocoa and dried herbs. The palate is awash with ripe plum fruit, it is framed by savoury notes of cedar, earth and ground coffee. Powerful and concentrated, the flavours integrate seamlessly with the fine-grained tannins and bright acidity.

Vanilla and mulberries mark the nose of the clay-grown 2018 Small Batch Series Angela Shiraz. It’s a rich but elegant offering, with ample weight and depth, dark overtones of mocha and black olive, a round, plush feel in the mouth and a lingering finish. It should drink well for a decade, possibly more.
